Drawing inspiration from popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania with her parents in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she was 13 years old to dedicate her time in contacting label representatives from the country genre.
