Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is an British and American sitarist. She also plays music. She is also the youngest and first woman to receive an award from the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Sitar Shankar, the Indian young sitar singer. She is a student as well as sister of Ravi Shankar. She was born in London in 1982 and was a young girl who travelled to London in London and New Delhi. Her debut concert was on stage in New Delhi at the tender age of thirteen. At the age of 13, she finished her high schooling within Encinitas CA. Anouskha is still a young woman, but she has a very impressive career in recording and performing. She often joins her father during performances, something she's done for several years. She released her debut album in 1998. released Anourag as her first single album. The following year, she released the Grammy nomination-winning Live on stage at Carnegie Hall. Alongside performing at many of the biggest venues, she also is a stage performer for a lengthy time. Her career extends beyond the realm of music. She released Bapi the Heart of My Life, in the year 2002. It is a biography that pays tribute to her father Ravi Shankar. When she was still in her teens, Anoushka performed at Carnegie Hall at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD concert. She was the youngest and only female to receive the House of Commons Shield awarded by British Parliament for her talent and musical ability as an outstanding musician from the Asian Arts.
